To Bounce or Not To Bounce!..
Your website is not just your digital business card but also one of your most important lead-gen tools. Once visitors land on your homepage or landing page, you either want to keep them scrolling below the fold or convert them into leads, members, or paying customers from your landing page.
Your homepage or landing page should achieve three primary goals;
1-) Call Your Visitors For Action With a Catchy Headline:
You know by now that 80% of your visitors only read your headlines to get an idea of what you do or offer. If you want the consumer to feel convicted when they tap your call to action, then remind them of the value on the other side of their decision.
2-) Summarize Your Process For Easy Understanding:
Without using many words, you need to tell them about your process via your product/service photo, GIF, or video depicting a desirable outcome. In short, instead of telling them what you do, always show them what you do with pictures — still or motion!
Your visual MUST spark the imagination of your visitor.
3-) Show the success via social proof:
An unbiased view from a stranger supporting your claim is the most powerful tool to convince your visitor to convert. Because most visitors do not scroll down to the second fold, you MUST include proof to back your hook in your headline.
